On Saturday and Sunday, June 26th & 27th 2021, we teamed up with Pieta house for the Dingle GAA Run4Pieta fundraiser. Information gleaned from our Strategic Review Survey suggested that it would be great to see our club partner with various community and charity organisations. In excess of 100 people took part to walk, run or cycle for 24hrs in a massive effort to bring us all together to support Pieta House.
Pieta House kindly offered to split the funds 50/50 with Dingle GAA for the fundraiser. We raised almost €7,000 over the weekend. The weather for the whole event was fantastic which really drove participation. As a club we support the trojan work Pieta House carry out for the good of every community in this country. The support will help to enhance the developments being undertaken by the club as we try to progress our facilities while supporting positive mental health within our local community.
